Day 31 - Nearing the end

Today I continued to diligently work on those unofficial planning guides. I finally was able to get to the kinesiology majors which meant that business and liberal studies were left for someone else to do when I leave. When I walked into Ben's office to say hi, he told me there was some major violations that had recently occurred. Student athletes were caught endorsing sunglasses on social media. Though the sunglasses aren't a popular brand, in fact it is a business built by a Stan State student athlete, the endorsement indicated a violation. Ben showed me pictures of multiple athletes that were wearing the sunglasses, promoting the brand and posting with a caption. Some athletes were even in their Stan State gear while posing for these pictures. The unfortunate part was the athlete who owns the sunglasses brand is an All-American. One other student athlete who posed with the sunglasses was also an All-American athlete who qualified for the US Olympic Trials. Just weeks prior, Ben briefly went over endorsing products and told the athletes that if they had any questions to ask or if anything was questionable to ask and get details.
