Reflecting on her past, Kim misses the big time football at the Division I levels that she experienced. Her fondest moment was her first time coaching men when serving as assistant coach at Syracuse. Despite their status as All Americans, they were humbled by her presence and gave full attention and respect to her. In 1994 the Stan State men’s track team ended the conference with a tie against UC Davis and took 4th nationally, and won individuals in the decathlon, high jump and triple jump.

During her time at Stan State, Kim is most proud of her administrative accomplishments in the Anti-Bullying Campaign and. creating a Title IX video. Her biggest accomplishment is the establishment of the involvement in student athlete development. She enjoys mentoring student-athletes and helping them succeed in life.

In the future, Kim plans to expand on student-athletes prospectus on career and life after college. She wants to provide more avenues for leadership development and drive student-athlete success.
