The Cal State Stanislaus Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a student club commprised of student-athetes from each athletic team.  Committee members volunteer their time to represent the views of their teams and peers within the Department of Athletics, the University, the communiy, and the state.  The SAAC advises the Director of Athletics on issues related to academic and athletic events affecting the college experience of all student-athletes at Cal State Stanislaus. SAAC Officers and representatives are responsible for planning Athletic Department events such as the Student-Athlete Awards banquet and the student-athlete Senior Recognition Ceremony.  SAAC participates in a variety of community service activities such as a holiday food drive in association with the local chapter of the Salvation Army and the CCAA sponsored Make-A-Wish campaign. Other programs include blood drives, community reading proects, anti-bullying campaign, the Title IV campaign, and other programs designed to illustrate the role of the student-athlete in the campus and community.
